Client Partner

Following an amazing year of continued growth and success in 2024 – and several new project wins this year – we are looking to recruit a Client Partner to our team.

Working alongside our management team you’ll be a primary contact for a number of our key clients spanning a variety of industries. You will play a key role in ensuring Cargo delivers not only brilliant design and digital experiences for our clients, but that they also receive the best service.

 

Job Description

You’ll be the main contact for a number of our key clients spanning a variety of industries and sectors. Client care is something we pride ourselves on so we are looking for someone who shares our values and who will develop and maintain strong relationships.

You’ll build strong trusted relationships with our clients by understanding them, their business needs, long term goals and any challenges they may face. Collaborating with the delivery teams, you’ll ensure a first class service for our clients is delivered at all times and expectations are exceeded.

Your work will be across both retainer, ongoing work and one off projects. We view every client individually and therefore a unique approach and service is something we offer to all of our clients. You’ll be responsible for understanding what the client wants and translating this into work for the delivery teams and ensure the client is kept up to speed at all times in terms of delivery dates.

  • 2 or more years experience in client management
  • A commitment to a high standard of client care
  • You keep up to date with industry trends and practices
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Commercial Awareness
  • A keen eye for detail 
  • Great communication and team-working skills
  • You are commercially aware and can manage several clients and projects at once, thriving under pressure when a deadline looms

Desirable skills

  • Design or development background
  • Knowledge of the importance of web usability, accessibility & standards
  • Experience with managing and maintaining Content Management System’s – mainly WordPress

Job Type:

  • Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North Shields, NE30 1NA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location:

  • In person
